Healthwatch Warwickshire would like to hear your feedback and views on your experience of using the NHS 111 service, an Urgent Treatment (or Care) Centre, or a Minor Injuries Unit.

Healthwatch Warwickshire met with the Farming Community Network and local Primary Care Networks to explore health inequalities affecting rural farming communities. We attended the Rugby Livestock Market, which hosted a Farmer’s Healthcare Event, in November 2025. We asked farmers and their families about their experiences of General Practice and other healthcare services to find out if farming impacted on their experiences.

We are delighted to announce that Healthwatch Warwickshire has been selected as a finalist, alongside two Primary Care Networks, the Canal & River Trust, emergency services, marinas, and local councils, for the 2026 'Excellence in Healthcare Partnerships (EHP) Awards'.

Healthwatch Warwickshire have been engaging with men to find out their views and experiences of arranging a PSA test, which is used to check for prostate cancer. We visited a prostate cancer support group and PSA testing event and heard feedback from 47 men.

This quarter we received 881 pieces of feedback about local services. We published three reports and shared briefing papers with local health and care organisations.

In September 2025 Healthwatch Warwickshire joined with IMPACT, Warwickshire County Council's young people's forum for Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), to visit the children's ward at Warwick hospital.

Below are details for some of the free menopause support community groups across the region, with special thanks to Menopause Knowledge for sharing their information with us.

Between September and October 2025, we visited Warwickshire colleges to hear from young people, to find out about the challenges they face, and to provide signposting for support. We invited young people to share their thoughts and experience of vaping.

Pelvic health involves the bladder, bowel, and reproductive organs and is particularly important around the childbearing years. Healthwatch Warwickshire are supporting the Coventry and Warwickshire Perinatal Pelvic Health Service to develop information resources and a website by finding out what sort of language and words are understood by the public. The aim is to ensure that the information provided about pelvic health is understandable for all.

Residents and pharmacists across Warwickshire and Coventry were asked to share their thoughts and experiences of local pharmacy services as part of the Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment (PNA).

In a bid to improve the health of the nation, the government produced a 10 Year Health Plan to reform the health system. This includes providing care and support closer to where people live, hopefully reducing the need for hospitalisation.

The latest guidance envisages that "integrated neighbourhood teams will be responsible for the health of their local population, working with people, communities and partners to deliver joined-up, proactive and personalised care.“
