Anyone aged 13 years or older who is registered with an NHS GP surgery in England, can use the NHS App. To be able to use the NHS App you will need an NHS login.

November 2023 marks the start of our new five year contract period to deliver the Healthwatch service across Warwickshire. Every three months we provide a report on our activities, and their impact.

The Mencap Heart of England Reach Out Group are Ambassadors for Adults with Learning Disabilities.

Between October and November 2023, Healthwatch Warwickshire visited six baby groups to listen to new parents in South Warwickshire talk about their experience of infant feeding support. We presented an overview to the steering group for the new Coventry and Warwickshire infant feeding strategy.

From 31 October 2023, GP surgeries must give patients online access to their new health record entries. Find out what information is in your record and how to access it.

From January 2024, Healthwatch Warwickshire asked ex-armed forces veterans across North Warwickshire, Nuneaton and Bedworth to tell us about experiences of visiting GPs and other health care professionals, and about taking care of their health.

We are working with the WCC Armed Forces Covenant Officer and other partners to understand and improve access to primary care, including to physical health checks, for people who have previously served in the UK Armed Forces.

Thank you to all veterans who shared their experiences with us.

On 18 October 2023, we held a Health and Social Care Forum on the ‘State of Care in Rugby’ at Benn Hall, Rugby. There were 120 attendees who provided over 150 comments.
