About this event

'Around one in seven people get migraine. Over a billion people worldwide get migraine, and over 10 million in the UK.'

Migraine Awareness Week aims to highlight the impacts of the condition, support and encourage people to share their experiences, and to increase understanding for those around them.

Migraine is often misunderstood, misdiagnosed and mistreated. It is now understood to be a genetic, neurological condition.

Experience of migraine differs from person to person and so does the impact migraine can have on someone's daily life.

The Migraine Trust, the largest research and support charity for people affected by migraine in the UK: "We're here to help you live with migraine. We can give you information and support now, and we are working at increasing awareness and understanding of migraine that will improve the lives of everyone living with it."
