    On Thursday 9th November we held our Annual General meeting online via Zoom.
    The agenda for our AGM included an overview of our Annual Report from 2022 to 2023, as well as HWW’s Financial Report and appointment of auditors.

    On 18 October 2023, we held a Health and Social Care Forum on the ‘State of Care in Rugby’ at Benn Hall, Rugby. There were 120 attendees who provided over 150 comments.

    From January 2024, Healthwatch Warwickshire will be asking for ex-armed forces veterans across North Warwickshire, Nuneaton and Bedworth to tell us about your experiences of visiting GPs and other health care professionals, and taking care of your health.

    We are working with the WCC Armed Forces Covenant Officer and other partners to understand and improve access to primary care, including to physical health checks, for people who have previously served in the UK Armed Forces.

    Anyone aged 13 years or older who is registered with an NHS GP surgery in England, can use the NHS App. To be able to use the NHS App you will need an NHS login.

    The NHS Prescription Ordering Direct service, a way to order repeat prescriptions by telephone, will be closing at the end of March 2024.
    If you have used POD, your GP surgery should contact you to tell you how this change will affect you.
