We are looking forward to our 2019 Standing Conference on Patient Voice on the Friday the 17th of May at Wolston Leisure Centre
This event invites anyone who is a member of a formal consultation group or a representative of a group that is formally consulted by health and social care providers – this includes Patient Groups, PPG’s, CCG Boards, Boards of Governors’, Practice Manager’s, Lay Representatives on Boards, Governors of Hospitals, Social Care Groups, Healthwatch Warwickshire Authorised Representatives.
Unfortunately Sir Chris Ham has been called to Jury Service so is unable to attend. However, we are very fortunate that the Rt Hon. Philip Hunt OBE has stepped in to take his place. Lord Hunt has extensive experience in Health and Government including the national development of the NHS Long Term Plan. The Speakers are now Rt Hon. Philip Hunt OBE, Rachel Danter, Secretariat of the Coventry and Warwickshire BHBCBV Board, and Michael Pearson (member of Clarendon Lodge PPG). Dr Cristina Ramos, Chair of (SW) GP Federation will be joining the panel for feedback and discussion.
We will be talking about future plans for health and social care (including the NHS long term plan and how it is implemented locally) and how the patient voice makes an impact.
The Conference is now fully booked, keep an eye out for a summary of the conference following the event.
