Making health and social care services work better, for everyone

Find NHS services near you – including GPs, dentists, hospitals and pharmacies on the NHS website

The NHS website also includes lots of information about NHS services and treatments here including about how to access your, or someone else’s, medical records (health records).

This NHS England document contains lots of information about ‘primary care’ services such as doctors and dentists – including the rules around registering with a GP practice.

If it’s urgent, NHS 111 is the free number to call when you have an urgent healthcare need and need to find a local service.

The Care Quality Commission (CQC) is the independent regulator of health and social care in England and conducts regular inspections of service providers, including Care Homes and GP Practices. CQC Inspection Reports are available online here.
